The Range
Newark Sportsmen's Club Trap and Shooting Range
Newark Sportsmen’s Club features an outdoor rifle/pistol range with 4 shooting stations. It accommodates shooters at 100, 75, 50, and 25 yards and can handle multiple shooters at the same time.
We have two trap fields and boasts one of the only wobble trap fields in the area. We encourage shooters of all skill levels to come out, which makes this a perfect place for the entire family.
Come prepared for a hike in the woods. Our Archery range has thirty 3D targets scattered throughout the woods. Our MAC Qualifier dates are open to all shooters, for more information contact Dave at (708) 514-1354.

.22 LR Shooting Competition
Our .22 shooting competition is open to the public, ages 14 and older are welcome. One – time fee of $30.00 is required. Dates are posted on the calendar. You must shoot at least 4 courses. A timed shooting course will be used this year. You will use a minimum of 50 shots each course. Practice will be available. There will be a total of 5 courses, if you shoot all 5 courses, we will drop your lowest score. You must bring your own .22 rifle and ammunition; scopes are ok to have. We will have different timed groups for semi-auto and bolt action rifles.
